Food hygiene training on the Internet

The food hygiene training on the Internet consists of three parts.

The first part of the hygiene training addresses the area and principles of food hygiene as well as the main determining factors of food hygiene. The second part of the food hygiene training addresses the danger and risk factors of food hygiene, and the third part concerns pests, disinfection and the principles of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) own-check system (also referred to as self-checking).

At the end of every part, participants have to complete a food hygiene test which consists of sixteen questions. One correct answer must be ticked for every question and the test must be completed within 2 hours. The test is considered passed if at least 75% (12) of all answers are correct.

If you fail the test, it can be retaken. After completing the test, the test results are saved upon leaving the training environment; they will be available again upon re-entering the training environment.

NB! You have to pass all the interim tests to take the examination.

To get started, register a personal or corporate account and order a training course. All who have successfully completed the training will receive a personal hygiene training certificate recognised by the Veterinary and Food Board.

Food hygiene training EXAMINATION

In order to take the examination, all the interim tests must be passed. The time allocated for the examination is two hours.

The examination consists of 26 multiple-choice questions with 4 options. You need to tick one correct answer from the options.

The examination is considered passed if at least 75% (18) of all answers are correct.

If you fail the examination, the training environment will be blocked and the training must be reordered (for a fee) in order to retake the examination.

The training environment will be blocked after the examination is passed.

The food hygiene training offered by Koolitusveeb OU is in accordance with the Food Act (MK noteikumiem Nr. 631 “Higiēnas prasības skaistumkopšanas pakalpojumu sniegšanai”) and other legal acts that regulate hygiene training and adult training in the Republic of Latvia.
